The original Primus lineup, consisting of Les Claypool, Larry Lalonde and Tim Alexander, were touring in 2006 in support of the bands Greatest Hits album ‘They Can’t All Be Zingers.’ Primus is one of only a few bands that cover many musical genres, whether playing at Bonnaroo, touring on Ozzfest, turning heads at Lollapalooza,  performing at Vegoose, touring with The Family Values Tour or perhaps enciting a mud riot at Woodstock, it’s impossible to put Primus in one category.

The band has packaged their Greatest Hits CD with, “Blame It On The Fish – An Abstract Look at the 2003 Primus Tour de Fromage” DVD.

The DVD is a young filmmaker’s uniquely warped perspective of touring with the band. The band is currently in the studio working on an album of all new material which is tentatively scheduled for a winter 2007 release.  Photographer Brian Miller captured the band as they performed to a pack house on December 6th at The Hollywood Palladium.
