DAMIAN MARLEY ON BOBBY BROWN
Damian Marley made history last week when he became the first reggae artist to win a Grammy Award in a non-reggae category. The singer's "Welcome To Jamrock" earned the best urban alternative performance Grammy. Marley celebrated by performing on an outdoor stage on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show on Thursday, February 16th.
Marley hopes to keep the ball rolling by releasing a new single, "Beautiful" featuring Bobby Brown. The singer shared what it was like working with Brown. He said, "Well Bobby Brown is a R&B legend. You know I know those musicians since I was a little boy. So working with Bobby Brown is a honor, you know what I mean? Great experience."
The recording of the song was actually featured on Bobby Brown's hit Bravo reality show, Being Bobby Brown.
Marley is scheduled to tour Europe, Australia, and Japan. Later this year he will also perform at Bonnaroo and Coachella festivals.
