Ben Stiller writes, directs and stars in the new movie Tropic Thunder, which opens in theaters this weekend. The movie also stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jack Black, and is a film based on the concept of a Hollywood war movie faced with reality.

Stiller said that he wanted to make the movie for a long time, but he didn’t think he'd actually be in Tropic Thunder.

Tropic Thunder also features Steve Coogan, Nick Nolte, and Bill Hader.
