Grammy Award-winning reggae artist Beenie Man released his new album, Undisputed, today, August 29th. The album features guest appearances by Akon, Voltio, Brooke Valentine, Ivy Queen, and Don Corleon, with production by Dave Kelly, Tony Kelly, and Scott Storch. The lead single from Undisputed was "Hmm, Hmm." The reggae star recently released a new single, "Girls" featuring Akon.

Earlier this year Beenie Man was mugged and robbed of his $180,000 diamond watch while opening a record store in the Brixton section of London. Fans chased down the robber and retrieved the star's watch. When the police arrived Beenie Man decided against pressing charges.

Beenie Man has been in these types of situations before as the violence in his native Jamaica has been out of control at times. The star shared his theory on how to help his native Jamaica rebound from its impoverish conditions. Beenie Man said, "Oh well alright to be honest Jamaica is too far gone for the government to try to do anything. All they need to do is just legalize the weed and tax it. That mean you don't walk around with it selling it, you have to open up a coffee shop or something. Somebody come and sit down. Then a lot more poor people would have a lot different job. And a lot of gun men would have to think about doing different things."
